Corona Virus School Shutdown - Home Learning Weekly Tasks
Now that schools have been closed from Friday 20th March we will be uploading activity outlines for each class for children to work through. Please click on the links below for your child's class to go to their home learning page. If they finish the work for that week there are other ideas on each page that can be worked on. Please take pictures and videos of the children working and send us them via twitter so we can celebrate the children's work and the children can see what their friends are doing! Also, please read the parent protocol below so you can understand the expectations around home learning.

Home Learning at Fleet...
At Fleet we aim to utilise Home Learning in order to embed and secure key skills that we feel need constant practise and ‘over learning’. The children from Y2 upwards have a Home Learning journal in which mental maths objectives and spelling patterns are outlined weekly and fortnightly respectively for the children to practise with their grown-ups at home.
We have presented and discussed a range of games and activities with parents and carers as well as the children in order to provide the children with meaningful ways in which to embed their learning in a way that suits them.
In addition, the children all have reading diaries in which a dialogue between parents/carers, children and teachers can take place, in addition to activities to support reading comprehension.
Once a term the children from Y2 upwards are given a topic based project to complete over three weeks. This enables the children to build on their interests in a creative way.
